This is the page I created for one of my classes, Skill Building. It contains sites on executive function skills, study skills, and other relevant content. I'm hoping to have students perform webquests and add and tag sites they find.
I have created a collection of resources to use with my History of Western Tonal Music course. As of 8/13/2010, I have 29 bookmarked resources which range from online readings, to audio resources, visualizations, interactive audio/video resources, music dictionaries and enclyclopediae, collections of sheet music in the public domain and also under copyright with guidance for fair use, spanning the major eras of Western Music History.
This is my delicious site. I started it several months ago. Rather than creating a new site I just added more bookmarks and "cleaned up" my tags. It was interesting to see how my tags were all over the place and how much "cleaning up" I had to do. This site is for my own personal use although I do plan on sharing with my department and possibly linking parts of it to student assignments.

This is a delicious site I made when I presented at the Online Teaching Conference in June '10. I contained all the resources I used when I made 3 different presentation.
This is the beginning of a list of Web Development tutorials. I used to write down the URLs that complemented my curriculum in a Rolodex. Well those days are over. I love delicious and have jumped over to the 21st century.

Free Technology for Teachers – I recommend this because it’s a lot like the 20 tools in 20 days we have been doing in this class. Each post has a focus on one aspect of technology and then ideas about how to use it in a lesson or apply it in education. There is no focus on one content area, but instead the blog provides a variety of ideas for all content areas in different posts. Some of the posts simply tell about different tools or recent ideas and developments with technology in education. I like the different tools presented and the fact that it provides ideas about how to use those tools in the classroom. 2. http://yabookscentral.blogspot.com/
YA Books Central Blog – This website is a great resource about Young Adult books. It provides information about current and new books, book reviews, information on authors, and other news about young adult books. I find it helpful because I like to stay up to date on Young Adult books and what is current and being read, and I really like that it provides book reviews and summaries so I can get an idea of what the book is about before reading. 3. http://theshiftedlibrarian.com/
The Shifted Librarian – I really like this site. This blog is written by a librarian, and a lot of the focus of the blog centers on the changes in the job of a librarian with increased technology. I like this site because I am starting a master’s program soon in Library Information Technology and I find it interesting how the job of a librarian has changed and continues to change as the way we process information changes. This blog also brings up different aspects of technology and recent events that deal with information or misinformation. 4. http://www.teachforever.com/
I Want to Teach Forever – This blog has some great ideas about teaching and different posts with advice or lesson ideas. It covers a wide variety of topics about teaching and is from the perspective of one teacher. The premise of the blog is to provide information and inspiration to other teachers. 5. http://www.gotbrainy.com/
Brainyflix – This is a site to help learn SAT and ACT Vocab words through the use of videos and pictures. It can be used to read and study or you can make your own. They are very funny and creative, and it was a cute site. I would probably use it with my students more than for myself personally, but I thought it was fun and they would love creating them. The link is for the blog part of the website, but that was the least effective part for me; I liked the regular website best.
